Environment illustration I did last year for Freshman Intro to Illustration. This was my first real watercolor illustration, so I made quite a few mistakes, but I still think it came out alright. I've gotten better since then and have come to enjoy working with the medium. Hopefully I'll continue to improve in the future!

I like the overall look and feel, and its a new medium for you (at least here), which you seem to be handling quite well!
What I could notice though is that the cast shadows are a bit weird, the light sources for them don't seem to match up. Possibly the reflection on the pond is neither all right, unless the walls of the canyon blocked the light source so it could show such an apparently diagonal pattern (by optics reflection pattern on a water surface can only be vertical to the viewer, spreading out below the light source).
Anyway, the overall impression is great which sells it for me! Keep it up, and maybe be a bit more attentive to the details next time ;)
