This is my first ever submission so I hope you like it. ANY constructive criticism would be appreciated but please, nothing hurtful.
This is an initial design for one of my future characters (a bat named Squeak).
I need to work on facial expression, wing shape (wings will be added later), hands and feet (need major work), and general anatomical structure. Doesn't help that my art skills are kinda lame to begin with. ;) Any tips?

Haha! I drew this ages ago. Yeah, I know it isn't really proportionately accurate. Unfortunately, I didn't quite get it right when I first drew it and I haven't really tried again. Also, there wasn't enough space on the page to add his wings. :-/ I may add him as a character in a future story, though right now I need to focus on writing the third entry to Man Of Growing Proportions. So it may be a while before this poor guy sees the page again.
