The boy dropped the barrel at trico's feet and looked up to his friend. As usual trico's eye started glowing yellow but this time trico wasn't looking at the barrel, but at him. Trico then slowly open his mouth and started bending his head in the boy's direction. The boy just watched, staggered, trico snapping his mouth near the boy's torso.As trico was savouring him the boy heard his friend purr as he never had before. Trico, still purring put the boy entirely in his mouth and started to lick him. After a few minutes the boy's fear started to dissipate. Trico was just tasting him, nothing more. But just as he though that Trico gulped and the boy was thrown into his stomach. He started to trash as fear overtook him.
But as time passed he realized that no acids where filling the stomach. Trico had only kept purring all the time long.
Maybe he wasn't doomed after all...
