Trying desperately to pull me out of a general feeling of art block and non-motivation.
This was a pretty old sketch, of the Bulbasaur form of Phyllon, my Ivysaur OC! He's a curious little fellow. "Little" shouldn't be taken too seriously though, as he measures 22m. :D
It's fun to just experiment a little, and draw for myself, without having in mind what you expect to see or to gain many favorites.
I know this drawing is not perfect, and I don't want to limit myself to only post drawings and finish sketches that I find perfect. It's not fun to constantly doubt yourself. So many of my finished drawings never see the light of day, because I'm afraid people won't like it. But maybe this is what's causing the art block. The inner pressure I'm making myself. So, this drawing, is in a sense an attempt to break old patterns.
By the way, poor little Popplio is in for some rough play. :D

I understand! Don't force yourself! and your drawings are great!
I love how you did his vines, with more thorns on it, and with a sharp end, resembling a claw, he truly shows a Rose has it's thorns~ Also I thought he had markings on the sides as well, like on his body... or is the perspective making it we can't see it?
