Number two in a series of four images for a class. This is Otter, for the season Summer.
Simply a shaman/totemic series I felt like doing as an assignment.
Does it feel like summer?
Does it feel underwater?
Lighting realistic?
Please lemmie know. I'm not done with this and I'm looking for feedback.
Please, do no use this image, copy it or redistribute it for any reason. Thanks

Does it feel like summer? Its not so strong feeling about the summer, but I think - yes, It feel!
Does it feel underwater? Sure, ofcourse!
Lighting realistic? Yes!
And something else - its looks like the pictures of classical artist like Picasso or Botticelli.
You are really good at drawing

Oooh I like this lots!
I'd have to say though, not quite sure if it's particularly summery. It seems a little cold to me. Maybe make it a bit brighter, or the water a little more turquoise? That may make it seem a little more tropical, and summery.
I love the lighting and the underwater feel though. The rays of sunlight shining down through the water is a gorgeous touch !

I DO get a very strong summer vibe from this. The cool comfort of the water against the oppressive rays of the sweltering sun. The intensity of the sunlight shining through the water definitely tells me that it is VERY hot outside of that nice cool water. But maybe it just really depends on people's interpretation of summer. ^_^
The flow of her skirt and hair and the bubbles around the otters definitely make it easy to tell that she is underwater. The light
rays also give a great effect through the surface of the water. Its not summery at first glance, but I like it that way. You have to observe the picture for a little while until you realize the bright rays of light, and while underwater it may give more of a wintery feel, the summer is on the other side.

Without a doubt, it feels underwater. Even the smaller icon from the new submissions said underwater. The flow of the skirt and the bubbles and way the lighting effects are set up, there is no doubt of it being under water.
The lighting is fantastic, you've captured the shadows and highlights and lowlights very well.
I don't quite get a summer feel from it, though. Perhaps spring. However, I don't have the other four images to contrast it against to pick up the feel of summer.
