A cover of one of my favourite tracks from Simple Minds' first album Life In A Day. Whilst the original was an uptempo art-punk track, I have completely rearranged it as a laidback folky tune on 12 string acoustic, whilst generally maintaining the original vocal melodies. I think this puts a modern twist on the song and emphasises its nostalgic lyrics. I would like to record more covers in future.
