Hiddson: Hello and welcome to week 2 of the 2018-2019 edition of Bandits Breakdown, I'm Brett Hiddson along with with Terrence Thursday. And already a big test for the Bandits as they take on the defending champions, The Chicago Outlaws.
Thursday: That's right Brett. Led by a formidable offense in Darius Smith, Jean-Etienne Tremblay, and Olen Reuyters, this would be a big chance to not only take on the defending champion but to take down a division foe in the process to make a huge confidence boost through the season.

Hiddson: So with a big game like this you'd have to expect a few big plays to happen right?
KLVB Radio Announcer: Here's the kickoff and this game is underway! Tarbour deep to catch and elects to take it out of the end zone heading to the bandit's sideline thanks to some good blocks, shakes a tackler... two... three... and he's off to the races! Perez the last chance to catch him and she can't do it! No yellow handkerchiefs on the field! 30...20...10...TOUCHDOWN BANDITS!!! Arnold Tarbour on what looked to be a 107-- no. 108 yard Kickoff returned for a Touchdown!
Hiddson: And what a better way to tell the Champs they're in for a battle than a UFFL record breaking 108 yard kickoff returned for a touchdown. Great play by Tarbour and the Special teams unit. Second quarter and the Champs would answer back as Darius Smith finds Olen Reuyters with a great catch and even better catch and Daryl Funk and Troy Schmidt unfortunately unable to bring him down that gives the Outlaws the lead.
Thursday: Even worse news for the Bandits *music fades* Jose Alcala on the kickoff return squad takes a big hit by the defender, and he would be taken out of the game... MRI confirms a broken collarbone and that will be substantial time missed for him.
*music returns*
Hiddson: Second half action and while the Champs continue to pull away with a touchdown here and a field goal there, the defense showing just how capable they are and give Stapler rough outing, sacking him 6 times. Each by different players. And while the Bandits did narrow the lead to a one score game, the Outlaws countered with a touchdown of their own and finish off the Bandits, 30-17. Bandits losing would be the primary problem as is, but adding to it with the injury to Alcala is going to make this season even more challenging if they don't address it however they can.
Thursday: Indeed, with R.V.A's hamstring still not back at full health yet. Bandits could be in trouble of becoming a one-dimensional team if the next furs up don't step up like they did a week ago. They've been hampered down by injuries before though especially at more dire positions and managed them as well as any other. So they can certainly handle it on paper, but time will tell if they can execute.
Hiddson: And with that we're going to take a break but when we return, we'll take a look at the next match-up for the Bandits, hosting the New Orleans Corsairs.
