$5 Pokemon trainer YCH of Cyrrix!
Bulbasaur was my starter way back in pokemon Red. Charmander was of course the popular pick because Charizard was "the cool pokemon", but Bulbasaur was waaaaay stronger in the rock gym and there weren't really any useful water/plant/fighting pokemon you could catch before then, whereas Charmander was pretty replaceable by the time he was useful. So Bulbasaur was always my pick, and he was a good little buddy (though his final form is ugly as sin lol).
I think I actually picked team Mystic in Pokemon go, but Valor seemed like a better personality fit for Cyrrix somehow, and it gave him better outfit contrast lol.
