"It's like I've said before, where it's one of those unexpected things that happen out of nowhere to tell you the definition and intensity behind something. The things you're not realizing you've been looking for until it happens and you're left agape as you observe it and realize, holy fuck, this just happened. Something can absolutely have a different level of necessity from one person to another. To you it might not be that wild, but they might cherish every moment of a time you least expected to find such a monumental role in one another. It's not to say you didn't care for it or place value, but you presumed it would be the type of thing you'd find and wouldn't have had it any differently.
Moments like this are hard to come by. This...genuine overflow of joy and reassurance. Something that tells you you're going to be okay and make it. They're hard to pick out across a plagued field but not everything is empty. So many doors in this room that answers are endless and not every section declares fate as a definitive stage of the undesirable. No, there's always a way, even if you have to bust your way through each and every wall. It might not be exactly what's wanted, but the little pieces left to the scene, they are permanent, and cannot be replicated. They are yours, just as they are mine, and the world surrounding. It's your job now to artifact it as one of these fractures in times that things were..different. A nod and assurance to never forget, I'll be one to say. You can be certain of that.

This piece was a wonderful commission I got from the always perfect
LeoKatana as a gift to 
Goolexios for his birthday a few months back. It's a bit silly as I remember this moment clearly, but hadn't realized how important it was until reflecting months later upon hearing Alexios talk on it. This image reflects both of us at MFF 2017, after having taken our friend back to his hotel around midnight one night and enjoying the time together. We stood outside of Alexios' hotel room and we heard his roommates talking inside, but instead of going back in, we simply stood in the hallway, just talking about our thoughts, how we felt, ideas, people, the future, and this general vibe of hope resonating between the both of us. It was beautiful and Leo was outstanding in capturing this for the both of us. I'm so glad to have it brought to life and hope others will consider giving Leo a chance for a commission, as they are outstanding at what they do and never disappoint. Thank you so much again Leo and thank you Alexios. Here's to more memories xxoxo
