Well, I finally got me a proper "avatar" of who I identify as in the furry fandom. It only took me 8 years ^v^;

Owls are underrated, in my opinion. Even if they're uncommon, I've always self-identified with the characterizations of owls in modern media - wise, intelligent, a bit pessimistic at times, and also very vigilant! My real-life first name, Greg, means 'vigilant' in Greek. Great horned owls strike me as beautiful creatures, in particular, and so the design is based on one. Also 'dose yellow eyes are my ALL TIME FAVE

NOW... If you've been watching me for more than five years (there's only a handful of you but whatevs), then you may recognize this character as "Wolfie" from the ill-fated comic "George and Wolfie". To be fair, those two characters were really just 'me' - two sides of my personality - because writing myself into a story seems on par with the general standard of furry writing XD

I always loved Wolfie, so it's becoming my default avatar design. I refuse to call it a "fursona" for this reason. Maybe someday how I "identify" will change, but for now... it's all good.
