Poor, poor Kari! XD This is a "non-completely-canon" scanario on how Kari and Shadi met. Shadi was looking for Kari because she needed informations for a heist or something, and who could help her better than a beggar who hears everything?
When Shadi found Kari she noticed how malnourished he was, and decided to offer him some food, but he was so exhausted that he just collapsed. Shadi carried him to the inn she was staying at, and after a few good meals, baths and new clothes, she noticed Kari was actually way cuter than he looked like before. And that was the first spark.
I partially blame my good friend HunterbeingHunted on Deviantart ( https://www.deviantart.com/hunterbeinghunted ) for this, after she drew a few absolutely adorable sketches of them! In case you don't know her, she's an amazing artist, and if you enjoy my work there's a good chance you'd like her gallery as well. ^^
