Laying there sucking his thumb Petie tried to distract himself as Momma started to rub baby lotion and rash cream into his bottom. Trying to find something else to think about other than the fact he was getting his diaper changed like a baby… but that was proving a bit difficult since Momma's massive hands holding his legs up by the ankles and gently tending to him with stuff like "Mama Meganium's Diaper Rash Cream" and "Cuddlebutts Brand Talcum Powder" (Danu had started a line of changing supplies to go with the diapers and baby bags) made it kinda hard. The sweet and unavoidably familiar smells didn't make closing his eyes any more of an escape.
Despite all this though and his small feeling of shame he was perfectly calm. Watching Momma's large hands gently slip a fresh diaper under his bottom and start fastening it up was a comforting thing to him. He knew no matter were it was or how embarrassing it might be Momma would protect him. Be it at home, the park, the store… she would keep him safe. Watching her gently and snuggly fasten the tapes up and pat his fresh diaper Petie let a happy coo slip out as he smiled around his thumb~
