My head came up with Glor. Kinda inbetween Glory and Gore but also Lord is kinda in there. It's short and maybe a bit on the nose but my head got fixed on it so felt it was the best I came up with.

It may be silly but what about Seláchios?
It's a Greek word that is part of the term Selachimorpha, the animal clade in which sharks are included.
It basically refers to the main charachteristics of the sharks (the form of the body, the fin the cartilaginous skeleton).

I also found that the term Shark seem to derive from the Dutch term "Schurk" meaning "villain, socudnrel".
Schurk seem too sound nice but perhaps it's too similar to shark, I don't know...
