As they say, the plot thickens! Nice touch with the burger name, too funny.
One typo I noticed.
"He speaks it well enough," grumbled Carlos. "Not all tribes in Daria are as isolated as mine…was." Carlos literally spat out the last word."
Extra set of closing quotation marks at the end of the sentence.
