=FULL VIEW PLEASE!=
I still plan on working on my Reaper Jacky piece for Halloween, but because this image of the Jersey Devil would NOT get out of my head, I have decided to start turning this in to my main Halloween artwork for this year.
If all goes well, I plan on entering this into the art contest at the Chiller Theater Expo next weekend ( Halloween weekend ).
Love working on creature designs like these. Something that isn't cartoony really, just raw edgy fantasy. I plan on the Jersey Devil painting being a pure digital painting, so I will NOT be taking this to tight pencils. I still have to indicate the eagle-feet like scaling that needs to go on his hands and the crocodile scaling and plates for his tail, including sketching in the forked tail end.
Do you think I should give him a beard and shaggy neck, like I did with my Jersey Devil custom, or no?
