Gato-vember Day 11: New Kind of Digivolution?
Comments are always appreciated :)
After having the previous day's picture being something having to do with digivolution, I decided to post this next to sort of keep the theme. After drawing so many pics of Gatomon with the same body type, I wanted to shake things up by doing something different.
Nothing much more to say except that I absolutely love how the legs came out.

I have to agree with you there about the legs, it looks really great, but I can see how that looks pretty weird for you, because despite how amazing each part of her body looks like, they seem disproportionate. Oh well, if you got the urge to draw her like this again, I bet we'll see some pretty good improvements on that front.
I checked the art you did of my Gatomon character and she was done well, I have to wonder if it had to do with the possibility that your Gatomon wasn't meant to be anthro while my character was and that some how made a difference. Although you never did a full body anthro Gatomon version in the first place, so that could be another reason why you had trouble with this.
Yeah. I was worried that the arms and hands came out too small compared to everything else. I probably could have fixed it up if I wasn't on a time crunch, which is unfortunate because I do like this one, it's just those that I'm kicking myself over.
But yeah, that could have something to do with it. Plus, I wasn't exactly sure how to translate the cat gloves into hands. They usually look more akin to cat paws so I guess I was used to those due to how much I've been drawing her this month.

It's those moments that make me worry about you a little bit, but I know you can do it as long as you don't give up and having done some a few days before the actual day might help a lot but it's still something you shouldn't try to over do.
So that might explain why you had trouble drawing them... I can't think of any advice that might help other than look at how you drew the other cat characters' hands and remember that the gloves are more thicker than how you normally draw the hands. I guess taking a look at Felicia from Darkstalker's hands as a good example of thick paw like hands that could be used for the gloves too, which reminds me of how someone was actually doing this with their characters, of course in their case they're so thick they're not so useful for her. ^^;
