I think you should upload DEFINETLY some of your work at this art-gallery, if you havnt already, as there are some of the best concept artist in the whole gaming industry, and if you ask me, your work has the same quality of expression.

People like i and other "drawers" do it, cause it is more or less a hobby or even obsession for them, but we probably will not reach such a level, either cause we dont have the patience, or the imagination/skill to do such work.

Although I can see the *possible* influence of quite a few illustrators here (Bruce Pennington clouds, Luis Royo skin textures, Frank Frazetta rocks and grass), the picture as a whole succeeds on its own terms as an original work. That seamless blending of *digested* influence into a personal style reveals impressive skill and commitment on your part. Excellent work!

as a short question. How do you manage to keep your pencil drawings clean (if the first image above, is a pencil drawing, hard to say that as it looks a bit like ink!)

ummm my pencils look clean?? Wow, thanks!!..;) No seriously I sruggle with keeping it clean, infact when I scan it I jist go into brightness/contrast in ps and adjust it..;)
