Today marks the centennial of the final day of World War 1. The Armistice of November 11, 1918 ended hostilities on the Western Front. It was the last amongst a handful of ceasefire agreements that occurred in a span of a few weeks, signaling the defeat of the Central Powers. You can learn a lot more of this particular day and WWI on your own, its scope goes well beyond what I can explain in such a short time.
Pictured in this scene are my own characters Danielle Levesque (in blue French uniform, since she is of French-Canadian heritage), Kendra Lewis (sitting on crate, representing England), and Lauren Glass (with tin coffee mug, serving the United States).
