Vember ten... sigh. Today has been very long. Fulfilling. But tedious and tiring. My idea for the prompt, "volley", turned out to be way bigger than I could have had drive for. basically it's like... teleportation arrows? damn I'm tired. oh well. tomorrow's another day.

At about 115ftps/2 by degrading of velocity over time
maximum range around 600 feet
10.5sec for 600 foot travel + 2 sec to draw and fire apx
average of 48 ftps over long distance or 36mph or 58 kph consistently.
Would be pretty good before advent of engines.
or if it was popular enough flinging arrows over distance could lead to some accidental injures!
I was imaging popular destinations like around shops or city gates where the ground would be permanently blotched with holes and lack of grass or life from a constant year long barrage of arrows from frequent travelers.
How deadly would an opponent be if they could teleport and use the arrows as weapons interchangeably, or even augment the teleportation with use of a spear or messer?
