I see a fallacy of completion, among many other things. If you say a trans person is human and thus has human rights, then you must also agree that a pedophile is a human and thus has human rights, and that Hitler was a human and thus has human rights. (no, silly, read more, THEN comment...you're just having a conniption)
No offense intended, except perhaps of the fragile egos of people trying to escape society's bullying without trying to escape the society that is defined by bullying. But, the fact is gender is not a human definition, but a societal definition. The biological difference between a female human being and male human being are obvious and distinguishable and provide for two distinctly different roles for the species. The difference between a man and a woman however; is strictly a factor of the definitions of the roles of the two as provided for by society, not biology or nature. This is a huge difference that must be understood. Man and Woman are of society, male and female are natural and biological.
Because society defined and maintains the definition of those roles of man, traditionally the strong provider and of woman, the gentle carer; those definitions are tied to society, and any changes to those definitions MUST necessitate changes to society. So, by asking society to accept that you wish to change the role society defined for you because you were born biologically male and wish to be seen by society as a woman, you are asking society to change, and society WILL NOT CHANGE.
This is not a lecture, this is a lesson in reality. You cannot expect to be given rights when you are asking for society to change itself to suit you. If you do not like the role society has chosen for you, instead of trying to change society which is the only way you can possibly change your role, you should just leave society and define yourself.
Bear in mind that I say this with two facts in mind: one, I saw society had defined roles for man and woman, and that I did not fit the role of man, but I also saw I did not fit the role of woman. I saw that I fit the role of dog better, but strove to be wild, a wolf, so that I could define myself, which brings me to the second fact which must be kept in mind when reading my comment: I LEFT SOCIETY, and have defined myself as an alpha wolf, the father of a growing family of others who also do not wish to be defined by society. Stay there and fight for the "right" to have your self-defined role recognized and respected, or leave society and become whatever you want to be without limits or bounds. You DO have a choice.

Real people make their opinions known and justify them, instead of just writing something attached to a picture and assuming that since that's how those who rule you do thing that you should too.

Are you just letting someone else dictate life to you, living someone else's life, someone else's lie, for someone else's benefit? Because if you can show such disregard for someone who demonstrates enough care towards you to provide you with critical feedback, in an effort to help you see the truth - that transgender and other identity issues are part of a complex of propaganda designed to control you and turn you into something other than a natural, real live human being; then you have a very serious problem of not being mature enough to be able to conduct yourself. And if you are not mature enough to conduct yourself, you are just a child who doesn't realize he lives at home with his parents, and that this means his father is none other than Donald Trump.
Grow up child, become a man, and then, once you have grown up, then you can decide what you want to be.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

Anyone who posts something with the assumption that everyone else will understand that assumption is quite the fool, aren't they? This means that the person who makes such an assumption honestly believes that EVERYONE will share their perspective, that EVERYONE will know what they mean.

Okay, so we have established that you are ignorant. So, allow me to demonstrate to others, especially our ignorant OC here, how foolish your statement is: I made no leap of logic, YOU DID. This person posted something which stated "Trans rights are human rights" which by logic of construction (I should probably mention here that unlike you, I am actually truly intelligent and do have an understanding of logic and logical argument and thus understand concepts like fallacies, and yes, even literary concepts such as metaphor and hyperbole.) This is a statement mean to argue a truth that he believes. But saying that a person has rights in their defiance of biology and nature as well as society's very definitions, the society of which this person, and you, are a part, is a false statement because only humans have human rights. But what he said was that someone who is something besides human, in this case a self-described "trans-gendered person" is human and thus has the same rights. And what I said is that what he says is strictly from his perspective, and that someone else might also believe the same. Pedophiles would certainly believe they have human rights. And I'm sure Hitler would believe himself to have human rights also.
So, the logical conclusion which should be drawn by anyone with sufficient intelligent as to, say, participate in public discourse on a subject, is that anyone can say they have human rights, but it doesn't make it true. Trans rights are NOT human rights. They are what society gives them, and that is all.
Let me draw for everyone here a parallel that will shock and amaze you: Dragoneer got control of Furaffinity after he led a campaign to ALLOW cub art on the site, despite himself and everyone else signing up for the site and AGREEING that cub art was not appropriate for Furaffinity. Dragoneer fought for the "rights" of people to post cub art, only to reverse the policy, coincidentally after he sold what he never paid for and touted as non-profit, to a corporation, IMVU. Dragoneer fought for the "rights" of pedophiles. He believed that people who draw cub art have a human right to do so.
Bottom line, don't try to argue with an intelligent person when you are not intelligent. The only thing that will happen is that you will be seen in your true light relative to that intelligent person...at least by anyone who is themselves intelligent.

As with most things in life, you have the choice to look at things. If you don't like something, you don't have to respond. Now, you may not like me for saying that, but that is the truth. Vorchitect didn't make you look at this. You chose to look at it. If you dislike it, then fine. However, understand that many people here do not agree with you, and are not obligated to humor your dissent. It's one of the reasons I don't advocate violence against people like this. Sure he supports a lot of fascist ideas, but people like this are often too dumb/uninformed to know what they are getting themselves into.

In all honesty, ottercoj is just saying that the society we live in is obviously flawed. Of course, we still need SOME kind of society, just one that doesn't care about gender, race, religion, etc. Not because it's a stupid topic, but because it's not looked down upon. A society that doesn't need certain rights or laws for something because it's already a rule of thumb.
But, their analogy between trans people and pedophiles could've been better. The reason is that pedophiles are criminals, and thus go to jail or prison. Imprisonment is the restriction of rights. Said restriction is given because what the criminal did is inhumane or dangerous. Being trans is neither inhumane nor dangerous. Being a pedophile, however, is inhumane, if not dangerous.
