You picked a good colour combination. It's just the best thing that goes for armour. A black kevlar-bodysuit with silver or white armour plates covering them. Badass every time.

It's not only the Stormtroopers of Star Wars who did it, but a lot of other sci-fi games are using that kind of colour scheme too. And why not? It's just the best looking.

White/silver armour plates and a black bodysuit provide a very good contrast and are appealing to the eye.

I mean, who would pick black for example? Swallows all the lovely details one could marvel at. Or what about grey? It would work but it would be sort of bland...

Hm, red would be an option or yellow/gold. Red armour plates with a black body-suit look very threatening. Likewise, yellow/gold armour plates and a black suit would provide a contrast as appealing to the eye as white/silver armour plates.

Basically I agree. White/black has a great contrast. Once, I did myself with a dark gray armor. Didn't look bad, either.

I think it looks like it was designed for a human, because the forms are so smooth and soft. Don't get me wrong, looks good on you, but I think it might look even better if you would make it a little more chiseled. You know, humen's bodies only have rounded edges and are all smooth and stuff. But an allosaur has scales and spikes, an angular face or snout... Perhaps you wanna try to pick these form up? I think you did that at the shin, but me in person would make it way more distinctively.
