Pizza is surprisingly hard to draw because the way is actually looks is different from the symbols we think of in our head when we hear the word 'pizza'. Cheese on its own is kind of white, kind of yellow, but it turns brown/orange when burnt and it can be translucent when melted, (less so with mozzarella, but it still happens) so you get a lot of colour from the sauce in certain spots. And when it melts, you get oil on top that makes the whole thing glisten and can add more orange/yellow, depending.

And it's way too easy to make the cheese look like melting plastic when you try to draw the stringy bits on the side... and the natural curvature due to gravity when holding the slice? Had a lot of trouble with that as well.

So yeah, this was kind of a silly thing, but maybe I'll do a proper study in the future
