Markus giggled as blush spread to his cheeks at the memory of the last time he found himself in shadow of Ryze’s feet without the old man’s knowledge. As he stood there, looking up at two enormous blue monoliths that were his master feet. Somewhere way high up in the distance he could hear the colossus snoring, chest rising and falling with every breath that seemed to shake the very ground beneath the little human.
Markus was happy for the opportunity to get lost like this. There was something inherently exciting about being at the oblivious whim of the old mage. Even if he did risk getting crushed by the book Ryze fell asleep reading once the mage finally woke up.
