May be "new" is not an exact word. My furrsona grows older but now with shorter haircut, and now with a bigger chin and a bit of beard. And as what you see, now it isn't just a white streak, but it will be likely half of my hair is white. Yeah, I'm getting older, and so is my furrsona. Will it be more mature? No one knows.

I was eager to see your "New Fursona" pic here on FurAffinity, Ryuu. This piece truly deserves that honor .
To be honest, I was pretty moved when I saw this artwork for the first time a few weeks ago. I think this is one of your best pieces because it can let lose a big amount of emotions, all related with the fact of getting older.
We can get wiser, stronger, and even more handsome, as the years go passing by, like the famous song says. But we also can lose many other vaulable things like naiveness, confidence in the future, and maybe a little of happiness... But the melancholy that has been gained over the years could be a new source of strength, because this kind of melancholy can remind us that everything is temporary, and we have only a little of time to enjoy life at its fullest, even with its simple things .
Sorry if I've got too philosophical, kitty ^^U, but I think all those kind of emotions can be found in this piece, and that's something that make it so powerful, and so touching... Sometimes getting older could be pretty cool, don't you agree? .
