I drew this specifically because I've been sorta getting attached to the image of Djermengandre as a musclechub (musclegut?)! Needless to say, this picture just helped to fuel that desire even further...so yeah, I guess I hope others aside from me will enjoy this phase of mine as I try and get better!

Djermy in colour! Your colouring style is so appealing. And I know you've had doubts about your shading ability but I think this is really nice. Bold, strong and I must say that on the loincloth, you've suggested that soft fabric texture very well. Same with the hair; you've given it a lovely sheen! Your detailing on the background is really good too. All that effort does make a really big difference! Hopefully you're able to find some confidence in your ability from drawings like this because the attention you put into your art makes such a big difference. <3

I was overall very satisfied with this picture...whether it gives me confidence in my abilities is definitely a variable, but I definitely feel good when I know others enjoy the effort that I put into stuff like this, hehe! You deserve it bud! You also deserve to be proud of your work. You're a perfectionist; you're your own worst enemy when it comes to criticising yourself. No matter what I say, you'll find things to improve on from this drawing. But regardless of that, you've made a fine effort here. <3 And I really enjoy seeing your work.
