Sandshrew - "Scorched Earth" form.

A variant of the Sandshrew species, due to interbreeding with the local Growlithe population. They can spew small flames to deter enemies, and possess a high body temperature, of which they've been observed using to roast berries on their backs.

Sandslash - "Scorched Earth" form.

Once evolved, this Sandslash type's denser claws allow deeper digs through solid rock. The friction can enable them to deliver fiery blows at enemies, akin to striking flint. They're also a tad more aggressive, a sign of shared Arcanine lineage.

Tried my hand at some crossbred varieties of the Sandshrew line (my favorite in case anybody didn't know). I have ideas for a few others, all chosen from the Field egg group that they belong to, so keep an eye out every so often.
