Yeah, money is non-existent for me for quite some time (paying off a second vehicle here), and yes, holidays do eat into budgets, BUT... for some furs, commissions are often gifts that they get one another. :)
Also, you are a badass artist - you're simply still being discovered! And hey, you got more watches than me in a real short time, and I had a 10 year start on ya. :P

It's perfect and I caught myself in two radically different situations due to two different points of view:
- No one wants to commission me!
vs
- I am too poor to afford drawn commissions...
I think we can blame place of the living, then. The biggest problem with commissions stars when you are trying to get a decent art... but then you realize that "cheap" prices are not-so-cheap where you live. It's even harder when you find even your own "domestic" artists and their commissions are already in so-called "USA prices". That is, $15 or 15 Euro for a sketch. Which is a lot of money where e.g. I live.
On one hand, we can't blame them cause money. On the other hand... let's say one of the arts I got on my profile I have only because it's a reward for some writing contest and its worth was around $40... which is the money I would never put into art (yet) due to infamous "me poor no job" reasons.
