Friends don't let friends drink and drive (or in this case fly). Kind of a fun silly comic. It's up in the air as to whether the seagull is really helping, or taking advantage of the songbird's drunken state.

What a lovely comic. I adore the feathery bulges and the sound effects as the gull devours its prey. And at first I read "digest" in the second to last panel. So much for helping the small birb. But when I checked it was just the distending crop.
But its not a puffin so even if this is Jake there is a good chance for a feathery pellet in part two :)

Thanks! This started off kind of sweet, so I wanted to leave the ending ambiguous. The gull is often shown gobbling down lots of unwilling prey animals in a sadistic fashion, or bigger prey in the most greedy way possible. He's also a friendly bird though, when he's not looking to get his beak around his next meal, and I like to show that too. This is kind of a rough allusion to the feeling of the first seagull comic I made last year.
