I digitally bought a new rhythm game earlier: Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session on the PlayStation 4! Until then, playing on an actual arcade cabinet at annual MAGFest visits was my only other experience with the extremely fun and drum-based series. The newest console game is totally worth the money too, because the songs are all upbeat, everything's intense to play, the online multiplayer is surprisingly intense, and the bingo and customization features are really creative. This is easily my favorite rhythm game in a long time, and I highly recommend it, even if using my claws with a normal controller gets kinda tiring after a while...

All the avatars in the game are anthropomorphic and physically expressive drum things; I could even change my avatar's colors and add fangs so that they'd look like me. And speaking of drums with arms and legs, my lovely boyfriend surprised me with this adorable drawing of myself turned into one of those drum creatures! I seem to be pretty happy with the overall scenario, and I'll probably attempt to badly sing some Japanese songs if you hit my face a bunch of times! Just try not to pat my nose way too hard or I might cry...
