"Sometimes people forget that there was a shred of innocence in them at some point in their lives. Typically starts young. Goes away when you get older. People's definition of it changes so what you might think is the word ain't quite the same for someone else. But I think we all feel it the same manner. Something about just forgetting the world is such a big place and finding an opportunity for comfort with what's going on in front of you. No anxiety, no fears, no stress, no nothin. All that shit's canned and you're able to focus on the moment in front of you. You can smile like you were free and the world welcomed you, just like it did way back when. Others will outlive this moment and, just like you and I, keep clambering back for that feeling once we realize we took it for granted. Didn't even notice it when we had it, or, if you did, you didn't care and thought the day it'd go away was too far off and you had nothing to fear. But it's little moments like these you kick back and let fate and fortune sit on the back burner while you live yourself as if it were just the things you knew and nothing to run from. When you were here, if you can remember it, you'd know it was just a rising stage, and you had a long way to go before you'd have to say a belated goodbye. Perhaps it's not too late just yet."
