Yea, I don't really like after stuff either unless it's to emphasize the utter defeat of the pred, sort of an internal view just to prove they're way beyond rescue and the pred has successfully achieved checkmate :D

The maw structure on this one is particularly neat. It looks so mask-like, yet organic and alien at the same time. I'm not sure what's setting it apart from the others, since they have that sort of theme too, but I think it might be the eyes. Either way, awesome stuff, and the tentacle whisker things are a neat touch!
The whole tomb beast thing is just an unabashed rip off of Japanese style monsters, such as no face. The whole rigid white mask face on a black organic body look is just so cool in my opinion, so I had to make it my own in some way. I plan on adding more detail to future tomb beast iterations now that I have some new tricks.
You know what would be cool, a head that had a bone/solid structure on only half of it (imagine this guy's top of the head only) and the other half being stretchy or slime/jelly( like his bottom jaw and throat/neck). Giving the beast a definite head but with the ability to swallow just about anything of any shape or size since the bottom jaw is all mailable :D
Would love to see it, the tomb beasts are really malleable, a black body that is hollow and tubular in the center, a white mask of a head/face. So you can make them in almost any image you like, which I think is part of why I like sketching them so much. And you know I would love to see more juicy girls getting gobbled up by them.
