Normally, I would scoff at anyone who said that a car could have too much chrome. But the design team at Chevrolet might have gone a little overboard with the bumper of this 1949 Chevrolet Coupe. It does make for some great reflections and was fun to photograph.

That part of the bumper that rises up to about the middle of the grille looks like an add-on. I've searched for other photos of Chevy's of that year. Some had it. Some didn't. I couldn't make out any kind of pattern in the short amount of time that I spent.
