Darkness is an illusion. When you close your eyes, do you see nothing?
You may think so, but I know that it's not the case.
I know you see colours. Blue, and orange, and grey...
Alone, they stretch boundless, but to outlines they give form.
I know you see outlines. People, places, things...
Alone, they are shadows, but with colour they revive.
They fill your mind like they would a painting. How else can you explain them ending up here?
At times, what you see will be haunting, but it's better than being blind.
Darkness is an illusion, for you are never alone when you are alone with your thoughts.
Don't be afraid to see the world behind your eyelids, as, for the rest of us, not everyone can.
