I don't usually like to get involved in political debates because I prefer to just sit in the background and practice my beliefs on my own time but this time I feel as though some sideline cheerleading is needed just so y'all know you have supporters.
I've seen a lot of toxicity flying around in regards to the "trans rights are human rights" movement much like I did during the "black lives matter" movement and I just wanted to do a thing to say that I'm with you and I support you. I may not be trans myself, I am after all, a cisgender female, but you can rest assured you've got an ally in me :)
Here are some well-put statements on the matter that i've read recently::
(In regards to explaining why the phrase "all humans deserve rights" isn't exactly "helpful") --
"It's essentially a subtle way of denying someone who says "trans rights are human rights" by implying they only thing trans rights need to be addressed. Sort of like how one might say "Womens' rights are human rights" and then someone else counters with immediately saying "What about mens' rights? Are you saying mens' rights don't matter?! Misandist! How guys, I have someone who hates men and think they don't deserve rights!" ... Despite that not being stated by the former.
Another example is the whole "Black Lives Matter" phrase used to draw attention to deaths of black people (usually by police) that doesn't occur as often to white or other groups of people. A number of people immediately started throwing up counter phrases like "Blue Lives Matter" or "All Lives Matter" in order to subtly deny that there's an issue at all and accuse BLM folks of being anti-police or anti-white.
To a lesser extent it can also be said it was done for the Pro-Choice movement; the argument to deny a woman's choice to have an abortion is called being Pro-Life which implies that the other side is "Pro-Death" or against having children. "

"Yes everyone deserves rights
But the original focuses on trans people because we are still struggling to have the same rights as cis people
It’s as if you replaced ‘black lives matter’ with ‘all lives matter’ the statement itself might be true but it ignores the reason the original statement was done in the first place"
Yes everyone in every stage of their walk of life will be "attacked" at some point by either the government, different groups of people, peers, bosses, etc and it's never right to do so to another human being. We are all humans, we are all the same although we might not look it. We all want to be treated with respect and I truly believe we all deserve it.
The sad truth is that some groups of people get attacked far too often or to a far larger scale than the rest of us and that just doesn't seem fair or like something we should ignore.
I believe we should all support each other and do our best to help each other be who we are and to be comfortable in our own skin.
To reiterate; I support you if you're cisgender, I support you if you're trans, I support you if you're somewhere in the middle or not sure what the heck you identify as. You are human, we are the same, and to quote a masterpiece; "You've got a friend in me" : )
