The door quietly creaks open, a myriad of smells gently burn your nose as they flood your senses. Scanning the room you discover the source of the scents in the form of multiple vials and flasks of liquid lining the counter. A raccoon stands behind the crowded counter with his back to you. Dressed in a white lab coat and goggles he doesn't seem to have been alerted to your entering of the room just yet, his paws busily working away on what you can only guess to be another concoction.
The soft pads of your paws make no noise as you walk further into the room, passing by pages of notes pinned to the wall and visibly worn textbooks as you near the containers of mystery fluid. Most of the liquid is still, with a faded coloration, smelling sour or spicy to the point of almost causing you to gag. The last potion however, smells sweet, almost sugary. The color is strong and vibrant, alive with bubbles giving it a carbonated appearance. You look up to see that the raccoon chemist has still not noticed you, looking back down at the alluring flask on the counter.
Your mouth waters as your mind urges you to taste it, to quench the thirst you suddenly are keenly aware of. It can't be that bad if it smells and looks that good.
