what's this serious supposed to be about? they remind me of covers for comics or something

i'll take that as a a compliment! these are just inktober prompts. A lot of them are just testing different painting styles, and most are sort of conceptual snippets of story-beats for a comic i'd like to do someday. There's no chronological order to them, and some have less meaning than others. i did go into a lot of them with the intent to make them look like an album cover or a title-card, but for no reason other than the aesthetic.
