The floor is littered with debris and boards from the floor above. A strange colored liquid drips steadily from a pipe which had been previously run through the flooring, you assume. There is a hole to the floor above you, but it'd be impossible to traverse that way.
Against the wall is a large, heavy door that seems to have been used enough times to leave a trail on the ground in the shape of the door's opening. The door is slightly ajar and you can hear whirring and metallic clanging from within. To your left is a hallway continuing through the basement. A quick glance to the floor and you catch a small mouse scurrying about. There's no telling what you'll find down here...
