Unfortunately I got ahead of myself in thinking how I want the story to go that I got discombobulated with how it was going. Please disregard any grammar issues caused by tense.
Also, obviously we don't have talking dogs here and the only one's that can "hear" them are each other. I also promise to eventually get into why he's Brian and not Shiny at some point too.
