Male Rinoceris pictus portrait.
I've tried to match a dark sclera with pale iris (instead of the usual white one) and I think the result works fine enough to adopt the solution for the original genre of Rinoceris; not for all this folks though, I was thinking that the white sclera could be a late genetic variation peculiar of Rinoceris pictus, so a part of population with this condition is showing up here and there, while the other living species retains the original trait of the dark sclera.
