Here's our Boy in full snarly mode. Using that big Byzantine style Equestrian shield, dismounted and protecting his somewhat delicate legs from injury. What set him off? Just about anything. Enemies, noisy neighbors, Asheru getting anywhere near his food, or failed negotiations with barbarians. TBD on the shield means "To Be Determined", as I did not have an idea for his shields device, or really how Shield designations went, as the period is very late classical, rather than medieval, so it would probably not be a personal device.
