Lucas and Victor’s fight in the modern AU is pretty one-sided.

“WHAT WAS THAT?”
“Lucas, calm down. You need to–”
Lucas was on him before he could finish, his eyes glowing wildly as he grabbed Victor by the singlet.
“You don’t get to control me!” he snarled. “That’s all you’ve ever done, and I’m sick of it!”
Victor struggled to keep his cool, growling back as he grabbed Lucas’ arm. “Let. Go.” Lucas tried to wrest his arm away, but Victor tightened his grip and glared into his eyes. “You’re letting your instincts get the better of you. Get it under control.”
“I am in control!”
“You’re NOT!” Victor snarled. “You think I don’t know about your cage fights? Where’d you get all those new scars from, huh?” His claws were digging into Lucas’ arm, now, but neither of them cared. “I took you in because I wanted to help you, but all you’ve done is ruin your life! You’re no better than a feral–”
Lucas roared, and there was a sudden, blinding pain across Victor’s chest as Lucas raked his claws across his skin. He yelled in pain and stumbled back, and Lucas leapt on him with a snarl, knocking him onto his back. He raised his arms to try and defend himself, but the searing pain made it impossible - Lucas swatted his arms away and raised his claws to strike, his eyes pure gold and his hair bristling…
“NO!”
Lucas froze as a familiar voice rung out, and turned to the door to see his sister staring in horror at the scene.
“Ana..? What are you…” his ears went back as the realization set in, his eyes losing their glow as he looked down at his bloodied claws and Victor’s mangled chest. “I…”
Victor snarled and shoved him off. “Get out.”
Lucas fell back, defeated, and Victor winced in pain as he struggled to push himself upright before growling loudly. “I said get OUT!”
Lucas scrambled to his feet and ran. Ana backed up against the wall as he ran past, her eyes wide in fear, and Lucas closed his eyes and pushed past her without a word. As the door slammed shut behind him, she slumped against the wall and slid to the ground, sobbing softly.
