Another upload.
I know, I know. It's late by a couple of days. I started this month thinking, "Oh hey! That drawing I need to upload on the 20th is this month, I'll get started on it soon! Then next thing I know, the date has zoomed by due to work and stuffs and poof! It's past the date.

So what is this? It's an Akire drawing, done every 2 years so far. Not knowing exactly what to do, I decided to quickly try to redraw the image from 2 years ago and this was the result.

It's certainly not my best art, and sure I could have (had I remembered after the start of the month) set aside a whole week's worth of drawing time to plan it out and redraw it looking all polished and neat; but this is honestly more of a way to see how my art in general has changed with time. (Especially since switching to digital medium.) I did make sure not to use the heavy stabilizers when writing out her name to keep it more in line with previous versions.

I really like the one from 2 years ago. Sure she's a bit long but it certainly was my best attempt at the time.
Maybe in 2 years I can really set aside a lot of time for this drawing.. heck, maybe I'll start drawing it every year who knows? But as long as it's every 2 years, I guess that's fine.

Also, this may possibly be the most "revealing" her outfit has ever been when looking at it.. *shudders*

(I really miss coloring her shirt with pencil and blending stump, I think that's what I really love about the previous pic. It gave the shirt some "texture" even if it didn't line up with how her shirt should go.)
