• Biography: The Quicksand Devil is another devil series robot built by Junichiro. She was built after Dr. Wily’s 3rd attempt at world domination failed. However, unlike its predecessor, the Mud Devil, the Quicksand Devil was made to look similar to a human female 90% of the time and has 3 cores controlling it instead of just one. This happened because when the Devil was first activated, it had a faulty programming in place that made it as aggressive as Wily’s Devil robots, nearly absorbing anyone caught within its quicksand-like liquid metal body. Before it could do the same to Juni however, it was shut down for the time being to avoid any further disaster. It was soon discovered that the robot had a power flaw within her core that caused her to go berserk after activating. The problem was rectified by making 2 additional cores, and the issue proved to be a huge success as the Quicksand Devil soon became as tame as her predecessor. Her cores are named Core-Lucy (Lucy Van Pelt) who is the original core of the devil and therefore the eldest. She never fails to drive her point home and is the one to usually take control of the Quicksand Devil. The 2nd of the cores is Core-Patty (Peppermint Patty), who is the middle child so to speak, of the core sisters. She is very indecisive and constantly turns to Core-Lucy for instructions. Luckily, those instructions are to just “mess the intruder up”. Unfortunately, she is also very lazy and unruly, as after when she tried to control the Quicksand Devil, she made it regress back to her original berserk status. Because of this, she can never be trusted to take the reins when combined as the one Quicksand Devil. Even Junichiro himself is unable to trust Core-Patty to take the reins and has gone so far as to completely forbid her from making attempts to do so. Core-Marcie is the youngest of the core sisters and is the most responsible of the 3, behind Core-Lucy. She always makes time to keep her systems up to date. When Core-Lucy is tired, Core-Marcie steps in to take the reins when merged as the Quicksand Devil and is very adept at keeping the big gooey robot under control. Though the Quicksand Devil is incapable of speech, her actions show that it’s a friendly robot who often just wants to play with anyone who can handle her huge form. However, she’s quite sneaky as well, so one needs to watch out for that. It likes to greet new visitors when any are present. However, it avoids the outside world when it’s freezing cold. The worst at leaving behind messes.
• Abilities: The Quicksand Devil’s liquid metal body is as sticky and thick as any quicksand pit can be in the world. This means that if one’s caught in it, there’s barely any hope of escape unless the command to release is given. However, as far as attacks go, it depends on who’s taking control of the Devil robot. Core-Lucy is the physical one. She is responsible for the classic split and laser attacks seen in other devil robots. She also contributes a strong hook attack if a target is close enough to be punched. When Core-Marcie is taking the reins however, the quicksand devil becomes an adept magician. She retains the classic split attack, but instead of lasers, she will instead cast blasts of Arcane Magic, and will use the power of the Earth as well. Core-Patty however, is so lazy and unruly that she has absolutely no attacks to offer. And this is part of the reason why she can never, ever, be trusted to take the reins as the one Quicksand Devil.
