Something that has been nestled in my sketchbook for far too long, tweaking this bit and that bit every so often, finalising to this.
There are so many layers, mainly because I wasn't satisfied with some minor factors, which made up the major aspects of this piece. I am still unhappy with parts of it, but thats probably because I used the wrong kind of paper for the amount of paint I used. I'm just glad he is now in colour!
So here he is, the one and only, Disney's Beast. One of Glen Keane's best works.

I'm pretty sure a few people heard the loud, joyous shriek I made when I saw this on the front page.
I LOVE that movie and this image recieves that same undying admiration. You draw the Beast very well. Captured his dispair perfectly. And the colors... oh, the colors! I've always loved how people tinker with watercolors and this is not exempt from that. It's very well done, expecially since they seem seamless with the acryllic.
Beautiful piece. Loving this picture is a requirement, not a choice.
