Mortals, powerless before the gods will...
While some of the more powerful gods are the fashion of the will of mortal, more localize gods are often divine mortal upon their self. The Greek Gods famous for this, being gods above Mortal, but still behave like mortal with sin and prone to rash and unfair judgments. Gods who abuse their power to torment the mortal.
When the Mortal lose everything to the Gods, when the gods take everything from them...then they give everything up for justice. Income the Divine Slayer. Mortal who given their very being to the oblivion that erases all things, the very power that is capable of erasing a God and granting a power to a Mortal to Consume the Divine power and striping them to mortal and slaying them into nothing.
A divine Slayer, though sole purpose in existence once the ritual is perform, is to punish a God who step out of their bound as a god (A God of Fear frighting people is not to gain a Divine Slayer Wrath but a Fear God who seek to dominate and rule over all through war and plague will be given no ear as they are slaughter for Justice). Their mouth filled with the Abyss, with their teeth hovering in the void, no gums or anything connecting them. As they get older, some of the Abyssal energy seep and drip along their chin and neck giving them an eerie look than before.
This guy here is an Ancient Divine Slayer the PC in my game befriend, helping them prepare in searching the galaxy and take down the madman who gain a power similar to the Divine slayer who calls himself the God Eater, and consumes the goddess of their world they protect as she steps in to protect them all from his terrible power and try to destroy him by teleporting themselves into the sun heart...
Face with the lost of their goddess, L turn to the Bordayus who introduce her to the Divine Slayer and through that meeting, the Heros learn the true nature of the universe and the gods and Mortal...and the scales that balance all.
