I admit, there's also a form of loose resistance to things that say "press here" when you see a bunch of Halloween decorations lined up. The urge to just see what the thing does and how amusing or cool looking it is is pretty stronger.
Flashing colors...the spooky sounds...they even have something like holograms now!

Halloween's also the most decorative time of the year for humans too I think. Some of these set ups...wow!
