• Biography: Nocturne is one of the 2 robot fairies built by Junichiro. She was created after Echo was finished and she began longing for a sister as well as a playmate. Her wish was granted in the form of the robot fairy Nocturne. As she and Echo were built before Blues was even completed, they had to be evaluated by Dr. Light, who gave them a flying-colors pass on their exam as they exhibited the potential for being robots with independent thought, yet they were still restricted to their programming. Nonetheless, this also gave Juni the greenlight to move up to the next phase of robotics: The robot masters, as evident when he immediately started on the prototype of his line of robot masters: DJN-000 Mire Woman. Even after Juni officially started his line of robot masters after Mire Woman was met with positive reception from Dr. Light, Nocturne and her sister Echo were not shut down and disposed of, as Juni kept them active forever because he considered the two his children and “you don’t trash children. You just don’t”, as he put it. When Dr. Wily initiated his bid for world domination, Nocturne was slightly modified from being a simple house support robot to being a hybrid house/battle support robot, and she has proven to be a huge help whenever she utilized, especially in the years of the maverick wars, and the oppressions of Copy X and Weil. As one might expect from anyone born to, or made by Juni, Nocturne is a friendly and kindhearted little robot, and is as playful as one might expect from being modeled after a fairy. Nonetheless, she does get snarky at times, as evident when she jabbed at Proto Man for attempting to murder Mire Woman. Like Echo, when she’s not helping Juni defend the multiverse, she loves to play with the children her creator sired with his beautiful mermaid wife Palutena and is especially fond of the boys Ichiro and Jiro. However, she greatly dislikes cold regions, never going with her master whenever a mission in such a region is initiated. The best at styling flower braids.
• Abilities: Nocturne is stronger than her small stature would suggest, and she proves it when she carries a fully loaded flower pot across the room without stopping for a rest, and since she has a greater strength than Echo, she often takes over in moving plants whenever Echo does get tired, requiring an energy recharge. Her wings absorb sunlight and she distributes this sunlight onto the plants, helping them grow steadily. When Nocturne was modified to assist in battle, she gained the power to condense the sun’s light into small blades and slice foes with them. She is also able to do this with moonlight as well, which is fitting as her name has to do with night. She can carry teammates across certain fields, but while she has no trouble carrying fully loaded flower pots, after several minutes of carrying a full-grown human, like her master Juni, she will start to get tired and strain to put her passenger down safely. More often than not, the person she’s carrying always seems to end up in quicksand.
