Honestly, I thought others would have beaten me to beign the first to reply on this image. I have yet to play Splatoon, but I am interested in doing so.
I try to give constructive critique and compliments when I can, especially when it's mentioned that a lot of effort was taken into create such. It broadens the Artists' mind to further their craft while also promotes a healthy relationship, both to personal endeavors and fanbase. I do make an effort to say such things to people on artwork that they mention is something that they've been working on to improve a certain ability, sense it also tends to be their most vulnerable moment and don't need negative vibes to through off their balance. At times, I'll probably take a long time of looking an image over thoroughly to find anything worth speaking on that speaks to me or catches my attention immediately. Moreso if it looks like something that need fixing. Doing such has made me look at art even more keenly and has given me an understanding on somethings that certain artists feel about certain creations...and in some cases, why they don't want to look at it again. It's also why I'm always VERY subtle on my wording, just don't want to come off as being a jerk that doesn't think before they speak.
So, if you would like me to do such on anything you share here on FA, I'd be delighted to give my thoughts on it. Best to shoot me a PM in that case, so I can jump on it more promptly.
