Azar and Ethyriel are good friends, but they do like to have their friendly arguments now and again. Ethyriel, a "master" of the magical arts, is convinced that magic can solve almost any problem and that magic-made constructs are always superior. Azar, lacking any magical abilities whatsoever yet a "master" of crafting inventions together, is convinced that magic can be too easy of a crutch to lean on, and that self-made creations are far superior to the flimsiness of magically created things (in most instances).
The two decided to settle the argument with one simple solution: cakes! Ethyriel enjoyed summoning cakes for others (and himself) to eat on occasion, and Azar had grown quite skilled at baking food himself. So the two dragons would have a bake-off! Magic vs Classic cakes.
But the two needed a neutral party to judge the cakes. That's where the cake-loving Rimentus came in. Surely he'd be able to have a cake or two and successfully judge which type of cake is superior.

Although, looking at Rimentus's stomach, it seems Azar and Yri have had to make quite a few cakes before Rimentus can decide. Perhaps he's not too interested in choosing a winner until he's had his fill. Azar and Ethyriel look ready to keep going until one of them is chosen as the victor.
