Whatchspider if ou will, I caught her on a trail through my room and decided to keep her for a while, she's been kept in a little glass one usually drink out off and hope to be able to find a bigger one some time. I think it's a Tegenaria Duellica, the Giant Housespider, her name is Itsy and she's nomming on a fly :D
I hope to slowly overcome my arachnopbie like that .. as in .. living with a spider makes the phobie more dull to a point at where I don't fear those cute little critters anymore ^^

Gemany and it's about 4cm leg span (leg-body-leg) I think it's definatly one of the Tegenaria family since those are know to build funnelwebs if I'm not entirely misstaken ^^
Though those webs are non sticks since it's a hunting spider, prey sometimes/usually gets entangled in the web for the spider to om-nom it *thinks*

I had a pet spider named toothbrush. It was morning, and I went to brush my teeth, and there he was rubbing his nasty spider-ass all over my mechanical toothbrush; anyways, I moved the toothbrush to the shelf with him on it, and he was there everyday, nup, i didn't cage him ;D, and I eventually began catching bugs, sticking then on needles and feeding them to him by hand.
It dulled my fear... a little... XD

Aww, that's sweet XD I feed her living insects, chatch them in a seperate glass and place it over hers, eventually the poor prey will fly/fall down and be nommed ^^
I should call her Bathtub then because I found her there xD But I think Itsy sounds more cute XD
